Susana Pilar Delahante Matienzo actually lives and work between Karlsruhe, Germany and in Havanna City, Cuba. She born in October, 12th, 1984 in Cuba. From 2011 to 2013 she made a Postgraduate course in New Media, Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG) with DAAD Scholarship. From 1998 until 2008 she studied in the Elemental school of Visual Art “José Antonio Díaz Pelaez”, the Fine Arts Academy “San Alejandro” and the High Institute of Arts (ISA) in Havanna, Cuba.
She participated at the following workshops: 2010- Braziers international artists workshop, England. (2006-2007)  Arte de Conducta directed by the cuban artist Tania Bruguera; Cultural Interchange “INTERMEDIAE-Minbak”, ARCO 07 at Matadero Madrid with the Art Center Nabi from South Corea. And other extra-artistic workshop as the International Congress Forensic 2006 at the Institute for Basic and Preclinical Sciences “Victoria de Girón”, Havanna City and participated at the following workshops: " Automated database and processing image in Forensic Genetics", “Evaluation of the bodily harm” and “Investigation for murder scenes”.
Susana has been artist in residency at the Art Centre Darling Foundry in Montreal from October-December 2009. At Villa Waldberta in Muenchen, Germany from April-June 2010 and at MAP Residency in ARTEZ, Enschede, Holland from October-December 2010 organized by Pepiniers pour le jeunes artistes and TransArtists.
Susana had a solo show title “Fiebre cerebral” in Villa de Bank, 2011, Enschede, The Netherlands, also  “Llave maestra” in Zalle Cero, 2010, Havanna, Cuba and other two solo shows in La Habana, 2009. Also she has taken participation in important exhibitions in Cuba and other countries.

In 2013 she is taking part in the following group exhibitions: “Arte cubano. Voces y poéticas femeninas (1990-2013)”, Cara and Cabezas Contemporary Gallery, San Franciso, USA, Cuban virtualities, Tufts University,  Boston, USA, Biografía Dilatada, School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and  BIAC MARTINIQUE. In 2012 she was in the 11 Havana Bienniale and just presented a solo show in NAOS gallery, Karlsruhe, Germany. In 2011 she took part in the III Biennale Arts Actuels Réunion, Reunion Island, France, Torbellino II_Whirlwind II curated by Dannys Montes de Oca, Galeria HABANA, Cuba, Again and Again curated by Adrian Paci, Galleria La Veronica arte contemporánea,  Modica, Italy, among others.
In 2010: “El extremo de la bala” curated by Rewell Altunaga in Pabellon Cuba. “Torbellino” curated by Dannys Montes de Oca, at Parroquia  Santisima Trinidad, Santiago de Cuba. The European Book Art Biennale_ 1 edition, Art Museum Satu-Mare, Romania. SUPERNORMAL Festival at Braziers Park, England.  “Satellite 2010” curated by White Box LIC  at Experimental Gallery, Juvenal Reis Art Studios and Residencies, New York, among others.
During 2009 she took part in the X Bienal de La Habana in two collective exhibitions: Estado de excepcion curated by Tania Bruguera, HABANA gallery and Simulacros curated by Solveig Font, Villena gallery, UNEAC.  Same year Susana presented her work in the extra walls exhibition All that is solid melts into air curated by the Museum for Contemporary Art in Antwerp MU KA, Mechelen, Belgium and Maybe Dick II: The Second Youtube Film Festival,  Studio Béluga, Montreal, Canada.
In 2008 and 2009 she was part of Medium Religion curated by Boris Groys and Peter Weibel at the Center of Art and New Media (ZKM) Karlsruhe, Germany and at the Model Art and Niland Gallery, Sligo, Ireland.
In 2007 she was at the 7th Gwangju Biennal in South Corea.
